A busy start to Brompton Bicycle’s 2025

The start of 2025 has been a busy one for our Brompton Bicycle team, with annual results, regulatory challenges, ministerial visits and a host of media interviews to contend with! Amongst this, we also saw the successful conclusion of two major pieces of public affairs activity from the past year.

Our highlights include:

1️⃣ Chancellor Rt Hon Rachel Reeves visit to Brompton’s flagship store in China as part of the Government’s trade mission.
2️⃣ An exclusive interview with the Financial Times on the challenges facing Brompton ahead of the Chancellor’s visit (link in comments)
3️⃣ Supporting the release of Brompton’s annual financial results.
4️⃣ Securing the continuation of anti-dumping duties on folding e-bikes imported from China.
5️⃣ Securing the scrapping of proposed plans to increase the power and speed of e-bikes through changes to existing regulation.

Working with Brompton Bicycle has been a real highlight of a strong start to the year for Tendo and reflects the interconnectivity of the media and public affairs, as well as the importance of regular and planned engagement with political audiences at Ministerial, official and parliamentary levels.
