Tendo launch report pushing for justice for frozen pensioners

Ahead of VE Day, Tendo Consulting have launched a new report detailing the impact of the UK Government’s frozen pensions policy on military veterans living in ‘frozen’ countries on behalf of the Campaign to End Frozen Pensions.

The campaign is calling for the Government to ensure that all pensioners receive the same pension, irrelevant of where they live.  Currently over 500,000 pensioners are left with frozen pensions, with their pension frozen at the level when they retired or left the UK, with some like WW2 veteran 97 year old Inez Minc living on as little as £40 a week.

The report ‘Broken Faith’ was featured in the Daily Express, Daily Mirror, BBC Online as well as a piece on BBC Radio 4’s Today programme.

The BBC online piece can be read – https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-52547281
