December at Tendo
Media in Focus
In December, the team at Tendo has continued to collaborate closely with our clients to secure impactful coverage across national, regional and trade media as the year draws to a close.
Working across a wide range of sectors, we’re proud to help our clients cut through the noise and finish the year on a high note.
As you look towards 2026, we’d love to help you tell your story and boost your media presence.
Lock Out Drink Driving Campaign
Funded by Smart Start Inc. supported by the RAC and co-ordinated by Tendo, calling for alcohol interlocks (“alcolocks”) to be a core part of the UK’s response to drink-driving.
In December, the campaign was formally launched in Parliament and received the following media coverage including:
- Coverage in regional and trade outlets regarding the launch of the campaign, which was attended by the Minister Lilian Greenwood MP.
- An article in the Express, discussing the campaign’s support for an amendment to be made in the Crime and Policing Bill, featuring comment from Lord Hampton, Labour MP Chris Hinchliff in addition to further comment from the RAC.
We provide external communication services for TISA to support their efforts to shape the financial services industry and drive meaningful conversations on improving UK consumers’ financial well-being.
In December, this included:
- Securing coverage in trade media outlets, including IFA Magazine, Workplace Outlet, Pensions Age and Corporate Advisor, following the Government’s announcement of the expansion of CDC schemes.

- Securing coverage in the Corporate Advisor following the joint statement from the ICO and FCA on Targeted Support and announcement of secondary legislation to allow PECR opt-out for workplace pension providers.
- Leveraging TISA’s latest polling on consumer attitudes to AI and financial services to land a high-profile national hit in This is Money.
