November at Tendo
Media in Focus
In November, our team continued to work closely with our clients to secure coverage in national, regional, and trade media. Across a variety of sectors, we are always delighted to support our clients, ensuring that they break through the media noise.
TISA
We provide external communication services for TISA to support their efforts to shape the financial services industry and drive meaningful conversations on improving UK consumers’ financial well-being.
In November, this included:
- Securing prominent coverage of TISA’s response to the Budget, including in the Evening Standard, Daily Mail, I News and LBC and over 200 regional outlets.
- Reinforcing TISA’s thought leadership on ISA policy, including coverage of Cash ISA reform debates in The Times and extensive trade press pick-up on Lifetime ISAs.
- Landing TISA’s responses to the Government’s curriculum review and Financial Inclusion Strategy in several prominent trade titles.
- Using new TISA polling on saving habits to generate high-profile stories on gender and age disparities in The Independent, the Evening Standard, LBC and a range of online outlets.
- Successfully securing attendance of journalists at TISA’s Annual Conference, resulting in press coverage.
- Providing support for the TISA representative ahead of their attendance at an oral evidence session of the House of Lords Committee inquiry on the inheritance tax treatment of pensions, generating coverage in trade press.
APPG for Project Delivery
The APPG for Project Delivery is a forum for parliamentarians to explore how national projects are delivered and to promote the adoption of global best practices in project management. As Secretariat, we support parliamentarians in their work to ensure the UK has the essential skills, policies, and people required to successfully deliver major projects that drive economic growth, spread innovation, and build infrastructure across the entire country.
In November, we proudly supported parliamentarians and the Association for Project Management (APM) with the launch of APPG’s first report, “Building a Better Future: Inquiry into Improving The Delivery of National Infrastructure Projects”. This included:
- Securing coverage of APPG’s first report in over 10 trade media outlets, featuring a quote from Chair Henry Tufnell MP, including Highway Magazine, Construction News, Building, Project Management Global and New Civil Engineer.
Radiotherapy UK
As part of our work supporting cancer charity Radiotherapy UK we were delighted to have charity Chair, Professor Pat Price, feature in national media outlets.
In November, this included:
- Professor Pat Price appeared on BBC Ulster’s ‘The Nolan Show’, representing the Catch Up With Cancer Campaign, discussing cancer diagnoses and delayed access to treatment.
- Coverage in the Guardian regarding the call from experts, including Professor Pat Price, to give UK cancer patients the legal right to be treated within two months from the point of diagnosis.
End Frozen Pensions
Tendo supports the End Frozen Pensions Campaign and its mission to raise awareness of the ‘frozen pensions policy’ that impacts around 400,000 UK state pensioners currently residing in certain countries abroad.
In November, this included:
- Coverage in the Telegraph featuring two campaign case studies, along with a featured comment from the Chair of the End Frozen Pensions Campaign.
