Celebrating World Oceans Day

Today is #worldoceansday and it has been a busy week for our National Oceanography Centre team!

1) On Tuesday, as the secretariat for the APPG for the Ocean, we supported the group's AGM and welcomed Lord Goldsmith (Minister for Overseas Territories, Climate and Environment) for a Q+A with the APPG.

2) Yesterday, we supported our client National Oceanography Centre at their Parliamentary Reception, which was attended by a number of parliamentarians including, Therese Coffey MP, Secretary of State for Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs and heard speeches from Chi Onwurah and George Freeman MP

3️) Today, we supported the APPG for the Ocean and its chair Sally-Ann Hart as MPs debate World Oceans Day in Westminster Hall
