Taking Active Travel to Westminster

The team were in Parliament yesterday hosting a drop-in event for our client Brompton Bicycle. We were discussing recent cuts to Active Travel England funding, with Brompton calling for the Government to urgently reinstate funding. The cut means that active travel infrastructure will receive just 0.08% of the overall transport budget for England - something Brompton, as the largest manufacturer of bicycles in the UK, is lobbying against!

We were visited by parliamentarians from across the political divide including Andrew Selous MP MP, Mike Kane MP, and Matt Western MP, and a few of our guests even took a spin around Portcullis House on our client Julian Scriven’s T-line Brompton!
