Tendo appointed to lead push for increased radiotherapy provision

Tendo Consulting have been appointed to advise the Radiotherapy4Life campaign, which is calling for increased funding and better organisation of radiotherapy. The campaign, which is backed by leading radiotherapy manufacturers Accuray, AdvaMed, Elekta and Varian.

The contract will focus on building media and political support for the campaign, as well as supporting the APPG for Radiotherapy which is chaired by Tim Farron MP.

Tendo Founding Director, Peter Carroll said “We are pleased that Radiotherapy4Life have put their faith in us to drive this campaign forward. With 1 in 4 people likely to need radiotherapy treatment at some point in their lives it is essential that the Government provides the necessary support for radiotherapy treatment.”
