Tendo Appointed to Run A Fair Tax On Flying Campaign

Tendo Consulting, the public affairs, communications and campaigns agency founded by former Treasury Special Advisers Peter Carroll and Will de Peyer have been appointed by the A Fair Tax on Flying campaign ahead of the 2017 Budget.

The campaign, which is calling for a reduction in air passenger duty paid by passengers leaving UK airports is made up of a coalition of airports, airlines and tourism bodies including British Airways, TUI and Heathrow Airport.

The account will be led by Paul Gaffney who said “We are delighted to have been appointed by the campaign and to be working with so many internationally recognised transport and tourism brands.

“The aviation sector is vital to our post Brexit future and our campaign will focus on the impacts that having the highest aviation taxes in the world has on our economy and our ability to create a truly global Britain.”
