For the month of April, the Tendo team have continued to assist our clients in amplifying their voices across national broadcast, regional and trade media.
We are extremely proud of the exceptional media hits we have secured across various sectors. A few highlights include coverage on ITV during the 6 o’clock news across 6 regions, a radio interview on the BBC, in addition to multiple hits on the Press Association newswire across a variety of sectors.
The British Chiropractic Association
Tendo support the British Chiropractic Association in raising awareness of the potential positives of intergrating chiropractors into the NHS to help combat the Muskuloskeletal crisis.
This April included:
- A national ITV package on 6 o’clock News across six regions. This coverage on ITV News referenced the BCA’s recent event in Parliament and included an interview with the President of the BCA.
- This media package also referenced the BCA’s recently commissioned York Health Economics Report alongside mention of the BCA’s and Tendo’s continued work to push for Allied Healthcare Professional Status for
chiropractors.
Radiotherapy UK
As part of our work supporting cancer charity Radiotherapy UK we were delighted to have charity Chair, Professor Pat Price feature in across national and regional media.
In April, this included:
- Professor Pat Price reaction to the cancer waiting times data in England for February 2025 featured heavily across the Press Association Newswire and in over 80 regional outlets.
- Professor Pat Price’s comments were featured across the Press Association Newswire and landed in national outlets such as LBC, The Daily Mail and The Independent following a new report published in the Lancet Oncology warning that the UK’s cancer system is facing a critical breaking point.
- Professor Pat Price appearing on BBC’s The Nolan Show to discuss cancer waiting times in Northern Ireland.
The Investing and Saving Alliance (TISA)
We provide external communication services for TISA to support their efforts to shape the financial services industry and drive meaningful conversations on improving UK consumers’ financial well-being.
This April included:
- Coverage on GB News following TISA’s response to the Spring Statement in relation to the potential Government plans to reduce the Cash ISA limit.
- Coverage in The Finrate, The Financial Analyst, Corporate Adviser, Finextra and an extended feature Money Week following TISA’s submission to the Treasury Select Committee on the topic of ‘AI in Financial Services’.
- Dave Beaston, Technical Manager, featured in Money Week’s piece on the types of investments permitted within a stocks and shares Individual Savings Account (ISA) in the UK.
CyberUp Campaign
As part of our work in cyber policy, we run the CyberUp Campaign – the UK’s
leading coalition calling for an urgent update to the UK’s cyber laws.
In April, this included:
- The campaign’s quote received full coverage on the Press Association Newswire, featuring in The Independent and The Standard, in addition to local news outlets.
- Additionally, the campaign’s quote had featured in trade press, such as Infosecurity Magazine.
EVA England
Part of our work involved providing public affairs and PR support for EVA England, the members’ association dedicated to promoting the interests of electric vehicle drivers.
In April, this included:
- Coverage of EVA England’s reaction to changes to the ZEV mandate featuring in This is Money, The Daily Mail, Birmingham Mail, News Flash and TransportXtra.
- The announcement of Maz Shar’s appointment to the EVA Board of Directors received coverage in Motor Trade News and Fleet World.
- Reaction to monthly new electric car sales figures in ElectricDrives.
End Frozen Pensions Campaign
Tendo supports the End Frozen Pensions Campaign and its mission to raise awareness of the ‘frozen pensions policy’ that impacts nearly half a million UK state pensioners currently residing in certain countries abroad.
This April included:
- Quotes from the campaign continually featured in the Daily Express, in additional to various regional news outlets such as Birmingham Live and The Daily Record in response to Mark Carney’s appointment as Leader of the Liberal Party last month.
