Tendo’s campaigning to re-introduce an EU/UK Youth Mobility Scheme.

21.05.2025 | News and Insights

Over the last few years, our work in the tourism sector has included a focus on the need to re-introduce an EU/UK Youth Mobility Scheme. We have been working with our clients, UKinbound and ABTA, to build political support for this with both the previous and current Parliament and Government.

We were delighted to see Monday’s announcement that the UK and EU will work together on a youth experience scheme, a scheme that will help support tourism businesses in the UK and EU, holidaymakers and provide opportunities for young people to experience working in other countries. Whilst a formal agreement and the details remain to be set out, this is development is testament to the dedication of organisations like ABTA and UKinbound who have worked tirelessly to keep this on the political agenda.
