As a part of our work for the End Frozen Pensions campaign, we were delighted to have organised a meeting of UK and Canadian Parliamentarians to discuss Canada’s request for a reciprocal social security agreement with the UK Government which would end frozen pensions for British pensioners in Canada.
The meeting was also addressed by the Canadian Minister for Seniors Deb Schulte MP and was attended by supportive UK politicians and MPs from the Canadian Liberal Party, Conservative Party, NDP and Green Party.
